Summary:Built-in BBQ gas grills have broken the single-scenario limitation of traditional outdoor kitchens and gradually penetrated into customized home kitchens, commercial restaurant terraces, resort villas and other fields.
The application scenarios of built-in BBQ gas grills are expanding from traditional independent home outdoor kitchens to broader residential customization and commercial fields. In residential scenarios, the integrated "kitchen-terrace" design has become a new trend. Built-in grills can be seamlessly integrated with overall cabinets and storage cabinets to achieve functional linkage of "cooking - food preparation - storage". For example, in a modern minimalist home, the grill can be embedded under the quartz stone countertop of the terrace, with the grill size customized according to the countertop space (common widths range from 60cm to 120cm). It is matched with drawer-type storage compartments of the same material for storing tools such as grills and forks, saving space while maintaining a unified style. For small households, mini built-in grills (45cm in width) can be embedded in balcony cabinets to meet the small-scale grilling needs of 2-3 people without occupying additional outdoor space.
The commercial sector has become an important growth market for built-in BBQ gas grills. High-end restaurants apply them to terrace dining areas to create a "freshly grilled" characteristic service. For example, seafood restaurants can embed multiple grills on the terrace, allowing customers to select seafood on-site and have it grilled immediately by chefs, enhancing the dining experience. Resorts equip them in villa courtyards, with one customized built-in grill per villa to meet the outdoor dining needs of family tourists. Some resorts also add heat preservation tables and sauce tables next to the grills according to local characteristics to form a complete outdoor cooking area.
The adaptability to special scenarios further highlights its advantages. In rooftop terrace scenarios, built-in grills adopt lightweight design (furnace weight controlled within 50kg) and are matched with special gas pipeline hiding devices to avoid damaging the rooftop structure; in enclosed sunroom scenarios, products can be equipped with smoke exhaust pipes to achieve smokeless grilling indoors, meeting users' cooking needs on rainy days. In addition, for high-altitude areas, some products have optimized the gas pressure regulation system to ensure stable combustion even at altitudes above 3000 meters, expanding the geographical application boundary.
Industry data shows that in the past three years, the sales volume of built-in BBQ gas grills in the commercial sector has increased by 40% annually, and the proportion of home customization scenarios has also increased from 20% to 35%. This trend of scenario diversification not only promotes the personalized upgrading of product design but also opens up new market space for the industry.
